We have all heard the message about skin protection in summer and now most people elect to wear a hat or cap when outdoors.  Hats are becoming a real fashion item and not just for racing season. Importing hats gives you a lot of great opportunities this summer.

If you are starting a business and would like to import hats then you have a ready market.  Asia can supply any hat you can think of.  Large brimmed straw hats, peaked caps, dress hats and fascinators and even the good old terry towelling hat.  All you need to decide is which market you want to target.

Straw hats are wonderful for summer.  They are light to carry and comfortable to wear.  They let your head breathe despite the heat.  A straw hat can have a good, broad brim to protect your face from the direct sun and it can be dressed up with a scarf or trim. Imagine importing from China, you could profit greatly with the current strong currency figures to.

When you import hats, that are straw products you will need to be sure that they have been properly treated.  Often the straw is bleached which will kill off any potential bug issues but AQIS will probably check the load once it arrives.
